Cheryl began working with Couch & Russell as a seasonal tax preparer in 2002 and has worked diligently to attain her current position of Tax Analyst and leader of our tax department. Cheryl has been a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals since 2005, and she brings an attitude of caring and excellence to our clients’ tax issues. Cheryl’s particular area of interest and expertise is in the area of Ministers’ taxation and 501(c)3 Non-Profit reporting and compliance.
Cheryl graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987, and traveled across the United States as a U.S. Navy spouse for many years. Cheryl and her family settled in Arlington, where she raised her two children while serving as Treasurer and then President of the Parent Teacher Association and volunteering extensively with the Juan Seguin HS Band Boosters. She has a particular affinity for adopting dogs; enjoys photography, writing, and cheering for the Texas Rangers; devours both fiction and non-fiction books; and loves traveling to exciting new places between tax seasons.
